Polish Navy participates in Baltops 08

On Saturday, 7th June, multinational exercise Baltops 2008 was launched. Over 30 ships, and several aircraft have been deployed to exercise running peace enforcement operations, and countering contraband at sea and world terror.
The exercise is to take place until 20th June. The Navy forces of, among others, Denmark, Finland, France and UK are participating. Polish Navy takes part in it for the 16th time and has deployed submarine ”Orzeł”, missile small ship “Grom”, and two minesweepers.
