NATO Ministers of Defence meeting

Minister of National Defence Bogdan Klich participated in the meeting of NATO’s ministers of defence held in Brussels on 12-13th June.
Minister Klich was accompanied by chief of SG Gen. Gągor and Polish representatives to NATO Bogusław Winid, LtGen Mieczysław Cieniuch.
Minister took part in, among others, annual European Security Foundation session devoted to the issue of the “Development of European Security Foundation”. Later on Klich met with NATO Secretary General, where they discussed the issue of possible installation of missile defence elements in Poland, and then, partook in the debate on the future of KFOR mission.
During the next day, minister Klich took part in NATO-Russia Council session. The agenda of the meeting included: military and defence cooperation, Conventional Forces Treaty, Russian contribution to Operation Active Endeavour, and the Balkan dispute.
Then, minister participated in the session of NATO-Ukraine Commission covering the issues of the reform of the Ukrainian defence system and its support for NATO-led operations.
The agenda of the visit of minister Klich included as well bilateral meetings with his counterparts from USA, Holland and Bulgaria.
